This is the backlot of Potsdam Babelsberg, where they shot INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS and other highlights like POLANSKI'S PIANIST and the great silent ones, decades ago, like METROPOLIS, M,THE LAST MAN and many, many others-
I was teaching next door at the HFF "Konrad Wolf" for a couple of days.
