Just picked up the rumor that Andreas Deja will be animating Susan Sarandon's evil queen character on "Enchanted".
Great, a while ago I was doing a bit of PreVis for that project .

A Hand drawn disney Film . This is really cool. It is really exciting that Andreas is gonna do animation for that one. A really, really nice guy !

But at this point of time he seems to be very busy.
Another Info that I have is that James Baxter, who worked as the supervising animator for Belle in "Beauty and the Beast", will conduct the animated side of Narissa.
Not the entire movie is animated, though, just 16 min I believe....
Yeah, I'd heard about this... first it's a classic Disney fairytale, but the witch sends the princess to the real world, or something like that. I'm glad there was a project available to not let Andreas' talent go to waste!
And yep, if you could push him to start a blog, the animation community will owe you one ;-)
I've heard he has a tremendous collection of old disney stuff, so his knowledge and skill combined with this collection could very likely make the best animation blog out there.

its says : the disney star animator from Dinslaken(...where he grew up )
The tentative release of ENCHANTED is set to 2007 november 2 simultaneously with DreamWorks's BEE MOVIE. There will be a crush of 2D and 3D. I guess the audience will be tired by 3D by then.
