Happy hollidays.
It's Sylt, very high up in the north of Germany. Don't worry, I'm not going to leave you and retire, just spent the weekend there, and I was surprised by how beautiful it is. I always thought of it as "Germany's Martha's Vinyard", with too many rich people, but first of all, the season is over, which is always good, and secondly, it's really, really beautiful up there, very rough, haunting and mystical. I'm glad I went.
The rich people on Sylt suck, standing on the main street eating crap and just watching the others! You wouldn't believe how shitty they look and how boring they are.
I only stay on the beach and surf with my friends, that's a nice contrast to the hectic life in Hamburg!

That's funny, I was there the weekend before you, Aretha and Mira stayed longer, so you could have run into another. I think you're right, it's really beautiful.
