Setting a few things straight...



A while ago I did this bunch of sketches together with a small team over at DW to explore expression and caricature on human faces, using the likes of Kirk Douglas, Rock Hudson, Jim Carrey, JFK a.o. as reference. It was an experiment never meant to become a feature, as far as I know. Because the guy on the left is holding a ray-gun I consequently called the picture RAY GUN, it is as simple as that. It was in NO way connectected to Brad Bird's Ray Gunn- project, although lately the rumour appears here and there on the internet. Damn, how I wish it was true !!!

Holy shit,
these look fantastic, when is the movie ready to be watched. I think you should take the part of design direction, so there will get anything lost during the process of production!!
