Nautilus

I was vacationing in Rügen this year, that little island somewhere between Mecklenburg and Vorpommern, which was great. A really haunting wonderful place.
I was surprised to find this little gem of entertainment gastronomy, a hotel/restaurant themed after Captain Nemo's Nautilus.
It's a labor of love for detail, no plasticstuff and guess what : yes, mostly seafood. Link above.

The kids were just as thrilled as their father.

  1. looks cool!
reminds me to this never built restaurant at Disneyland Paris, and it looks very simular to the current walk trough attraction that eventually came out of the concept.

  2. Hello, great artwork you have here!:))
I like the photos of Rugen, too...is this the same Rugen that was conquered by the Danish in the 12th century? I guess it is, there probably isn't 2 of them...:)
Very interested in medieval history, that's why I'm asking...
