Also - I am aware of these characters. I read the books as a child and loved them. I think in English the character was renamed Nirmal. I've actually been looking for them as I loved the pictures as a kid. The character slept in a large plastic sea shell, yes??
I wouldn't say anything if it was a regular version of the book, but reenacting the "Puppenkiste" is pathetic .
